Home Inspection

 

The purpose of a Home Inspection is to give you a good understanding of the overall condition of the potential home purchase or already purchased home at the time of inspection. Your questions about the home will be answered as the inspection goes along. The inspection will take 2 to 3 hours or so for an average size home.

Pre-Purchase Home Inspection Systems Inspected :

Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI)

 

A Pre-Delivery (Home) Inspection (PDI) is a chance to completely familiarize yourself with your new home and to learn how the systems in the home function. It gives you the chance to document any defects or imperfections in the home. The inspection gives you a chance to have any questions about the home answered before moving into the home. The inspection will take about 2 to 3 hours to complete for an average size home.

One Year Warranty Inspection

 

If you did not carry out your New Home inspection during construction, I highly recommend that you conduct a Year End Tarion Warranty Inspection (Also known as One-year warranty inspection), prior to the ending of the first year of possession of your New Home. This inspection gives you a last chance to find defects in the home before warranties expire. The inspection takes 2 to 3 hours or so for an average size house.

Pre-Listing Home Inspection

 

A pre-listing home inspection is a full inspection of the homes systems that potential buyers will want to know about before listing your home. An inspection of your existing house could help you sell your property much easier, faster, and possibly get you a higher price for your home. The inspection will take 2 to 3 hours or so to complete for an average size home.

Walk Through/ pre-offer Inspection

The purpose of a Walk Through is to give you a general idea of the condition of the major components of the house. The client makes comments and takes notes while the house inspector explains the defects. It is very fun and easy and gives you an idea of what the general condition of the major systems of the home is in. The inspection is a maximum one hour time frame.
